WOMEN SCIENTISTS NOBEL PRIZE WINNERS

Students, supported by teachers, presented the life of Alfred Nobel and the details of famous women scientists Nobel Prize winners in the STEM field such are Marie Curie, Irène Joliot-Curie, Maria Goeppert-Mayer, Dorothy Crowfoot Hodgkin and Gerty Cori, who are carriers of this profession. After that they competed in a quiz on this subject.
In paralel session senior students organized an exhibition titled "Science is not a bogey" where through interesting experiments, interactive items and workshops students familiarized themselves with the different scientific phenomena and theories. Performing practical experiments in physics and chemistry, students came to the conclusion on conducting electrical current through the conductors, insulators and electrolytes and made correlation of physics, chemistry, technology and computing which aims at popularization and improvement of education and science, as well as support the active involvement of students in science projects.
